"I moved to London in 2006 to progress in the world of photography"

Originally from Bury St Edmunds, I moved to London in 2006 to progress in the world of photography and gained great experience ranging from Portrait and Product to Travel, Design, Event and Medical Photography.

I ran my own photographic studio as a Black Label Artist on various premier cruise liners. This combined two of my main passions: travel and portrait photography. I photographed the annual photography for The London Design Festival (2004-2014), I have been featured in high profile magazines such as Vogue and contributed to the Rome travel book for Insight Guides.

During my travelling I volunteered as a photographer at Kalinga Eye Hospital in Orissa, India. It was here my passion for Medical Photography began and on my return I successfully acquired a position as a Medical Photographer in UCL Health Creatives based at The Royal Free Hospital, London. Since then I have won awards for my work, including The Wellcome Image 2017 Award, Gold and Bronze awards at The Institute of Medical Illustrators. Along with my team I photograph over 6,000 patients a year and I am involved I documenting for research and clinical trials.
